Yay! I've created alot lately!

I am having alot of good days lately.  YAY!!!  So when I feel good, I tend to want to create.  I have been painting, sewing and a bit of scrappin'

Here is a snippet of a journal page.

A new Travel Jewelry Organizer posted on Gabry Road

I just love making fabric flowers. Isn't it pretty?

Here is my hand me down sewing machine.  A 1964 Singer sewing machine.  Very reliable, but she sure needs alot of tuning up.  I thought she "died" on the weekend.  I had to take the pedal apart and fixed her up!

Mom & Me

Well, I know, it's been such a long time since I have created or posted anything.  Been feeling the itch to create and Creative Scrappers - Sketch 1 - Sunshine Crop had an online crop going on, so I thought I would tackle at least one of the sketches.  Not my best, but it's a start.  Papers are from the "out of print" Basic Grey line. I love those papers!

A section for your BRACELETS

and for your EARRINGS

and another view for your BRACELETS

Altered wooden carry all

Went to value village with a friend just before the holidays and got myself a couple of these to alter and use for my painting and scrapbooking tools.

Here is the before picture:

And here is what it looks like now.  Actually it wasn't that hard to do since I used paper that looks like I pieced it all together ;)

Of course I had to distress is a la Tim Holtz!  Thanks for dropping by.

Photo Trays

I truly enjoy making handmade gifts, so for this past Christmas I made two photo trays:

This first one took me foreverrrrrr...I made it from Tim Holtz Configuration trays where you can decide where to put each and every little box.. Oh myyyy I don't think I will do that again..LOL  Anyhow, this was part of a gift exchange where either my mom OR sister would get...My mom (pictured here) along with my niece seem to be very happy to have received it.

The second photo tray I did, I made for my sis-in-law's family:

Now this one I would do over again.  Not only was it easier, but I much prefer the layout.  Hope they liked it!

eReader Covers

Happy New Years!  Hope everyone had a great holiday!  I had a great time with my family, but sure did miss my East Coast family.  I think my favourite gift I received is my Kobo TouchScreen eReader. I read every single night now.. Love it!  I thought it should have some form of sleeve to protect it, so I made a protective cover.

As you can see I am reading Shania's book.  I'm already 3/4's ways through it :)

The protective cover is padded.

And I've also included a pocket on the back side to store the usb charger.

Interested in having one custom made for your eReader?  Click on the Post Title and it will bring you to my boutique on Gabry Road :)

I can certainly custom make it for your Kindle, Kobo, Galaxy Tab, Blackberry Playbook, etc.

Thanks for dropping by.
